New Beginnings

Since leaving the medical field a few months ago, I have had time to sit and plan all the projects we have dreamt of completing. This has turned into a community project. We have family members and neighbors getting into all the projects as well. I'm new the blogging so bear with me as I begin my journey of transitioning to having a farm shop and just projects around the house. Our first big project was making our garden with the amazing neighbors bigger this year. We now have a good sized garden and then a separate patch for things that needed more room.

Last year we did a good sized garden and I relearned how to can. I had not used those skills since I was a kid helping my great-grandmother can from her garden. And I honestly am very excited to be able to learn all the new tips and tricks that we didn't know way back then. So follow along with me as I change our landscaping, work in the garden and there might even be a surprise appearance from my Father-in-law's property where we have started another project. As I said before, I've never done anything like this and don't really know what I'm doing but if you want to follow along and see what is going on or even just sit and laugh at our ridiculous plans, everyone is welcome!
